Route Transportation and Logistics is a proud sponsor of The Sarasota Heat (10 & under division) softball team. This past weekend, the team took 1st place at the championship tournament in Venice, Florida! They are 8-2 so far for the spring season.

The Sarasota Heat team has been together since August 2018. They play locally and travel throughout the gulf coast and into central Florida. Although the team had a tough start, they have been practicing and improving their game play weekly. In the last 4 tournaments, they’ve earned 2nd, 3rd, 3rd, and 1st place respectively.

Our very own Vice President of Route Transportation and Logistics is the head coach for The Sarasota Heat, and his daughter is on the team. We are thrilled to sponsor youth sports that encourage kids to exercise, promote teamwork and trust, and give back to the community.

We wish the team luck for the rest of the spring season! Go heat ’em up!
