We are excited to announce the promotion of Jess Plutino to Account Manager! She will be taking over the management of accounts previously managed by Anne.

Jess began her career with Route in 2019 as the after-hours Load Coordinator, quickly moving into a full-time position. In 2021, Jess advanced and easily adapted to the role of Customer Service Representative, going above and beyond the parameters of the job description, often assisting with tasks outside the scope of a Customer Service Rep. She proactively took on educating herself with quoting procedures, market trends, freight forecasts, and current affairs pertaining to the freight industry and 3PLs. She seamlessly filled the role of Substitute Account Manager when was necessary, maintaining the level of service that is expected by our shippers.

In her new role, Jess will assume the responsibility of managing shipper accounts. She will be the primary point of contact for shippers, managing and maintaining all details of current and future active orders, submitting and managing rate inquiries via email and on spot boards, and exploring additional opportunities from active shippers. She will also manage and lead the carrier representatives, providing feedback, suggestions, and instruction on methods to best provide coverage on orders. Additionally, Jess will be maintaining active familiarity with the load board, coordinating with the customer service representative in making executive decisions for onboarding carriers, as well as advising shippers on efficient and effective ways to ship their freight.

Jess resides in Sarasota, FL with her 2 chihuahuas and 2 cats.
