Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Since then, it has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
Route is giving back this month by sponsoring 4 non-profits and organizations that help children and families in need.
1. Sponsoring a Giving Campaign Supporting Habitat for Humanity
We are excited to share that Route is supporting Atlanta Habitat for Humanity and the building of a home! As a bronze level sponsor, our donation will fund the insulation for the entire home.
Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that helps families build and improve places to call home. Join us in supporting this non-profit here.
2. Supporting Junior Achievement of Tampa Bay
Junior Achievement of Tampa Bay offers over 20 experiential, hands on learning experiences that help students, grades k-12, discover and apply entrepreneurship, work readiness and financial literacy concepts and skills.
Route’s monetary gift this month will help Junior Achievement reach thousands of students this year, through our authentic, relevant and experiential learning. Join us in supporting this organization here.
3. Sponsoring Miss Sarasota Softball
Route is excited to sponsor Miss Sarasota Softball in the 25th Annual Sarasota Holiday Parade! The girl’s softball team marches in the parade every year to build awareness and bring joy to the local community.
4. Corporate Partnership with Hunger Fight
As a corporate partner for Hunger Fight, Route helps to support a charity that provides millions of meals and books to children, seniors, and families in need. In addition, our team builds awareness for Hunger Fight through email (with the Hunger Fight logo in our signatures), and on Route’s website and social media pages.
